1096 | Peplo Peplo  Pale, brilliant color, the soft coral with red gold hues. Intense and fresh on the nose with aromas of watermelon, strawberry, white flowers, such as violet and rose petals, coupled with lemon citrus, grapefruit and a hint of minerality. On the palate, it has a medium body, nerve and acidity, structure and complexity, coming from acacia and clay. Flavors are consistent with aromas while the finish is long with developing flavors. Each variety contributes with 1/3 to the wine. The Syrah ages on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks, the Agiorgitiko in Acacia barrels and the Mavrofilero
in egg shaped amphoras with skin contact for 4 months.
Peplo. A detail, that gave the name to the wine. The skin of the Mavrofilero is contained in a fabric within the amphora to allow a better control during the extraction process.

This wine is produced from Xinomavro, a charismatic but demanding Greek grape variety from Macedonia, which has adapted perfectly to the microclimate of Epanomi in Northern Greece.

1003 | Studio By Miraval Studio By Miraval  Delicate limpid and brilliant dress, of a very pale pink. With its seductive floral aromas, the nose immediately transports us to the Provençal maquis. On the palate, this wine is ample and generous with fruity aromas of citrus, grapefruit and fig, perfectly balanced by a nice mineral structure. The finish is all in length with a hint of bitterness that offers an irresistible iodized and lemony character. A real explosion of flavors all in elegance. L’hiver fût sec et doux, suivi d’un printemps humide et froid avec quelques épisodes de gel, causant quelques dégâts. Malgré cela, la floraison s’est parfaitement déroulée mais avec une quantité limitée (-50% par rapport à la moyenne). L’été chaud et sec a permis de préserver le parfait état sanitaire des vignes, avec un travail régulier du sol pour conserver la fraicheur. Plutôt précoces, les vendanges se sont déroulées dans de très bonnes conditions entre le 9 septembre et le 1er octobre. En cave, l’excellente qualité des raisins a permis de réaliser des vinifications très peu interventionnistes.
